d20 said...: Welllll, Stephen King stayed at the Stanley with his wife and was inspired to write The Shining; you can watch the original Kubrick film (NOT filmed at the Stanley), and the made for TV version (which actually was filmed at the Stanley) 24/7 on the room televisions. It is frankly fun and creepy at the same time staying there.
